Michigan Lady Hooks 'double whammy'   Sandy Elder of Brimley, Mich. seems to know the right side of luck. She left the Homer Harbor on board the F/V Restless on July 10 and came back with two huge fish to her name.   On a trip that she and her husband, Richard, had been waiting a lifetime for, she pulled in two halibut, one weighing 120 pounds and the other weighing 152 pounds.   Captain Doug Judge, envisions a headline for this woman's story saying, "Good things happen to those who wait." At least that was the case here. On the long-awaited trip, for which this couple had been saving for some time, they were scheduled to go out fishing on July 4. However, due to extreme weather, the trip was canceled and the next opening was a week later.   But the couple had dreamed of fishing and decided to postpone their trip back to Michigan, waiting around in Homer until they could have a try at the line. Their patience was rewarded.   "They had saved all their life for this trip. It was a lifelong dream to make a trip to Alaska," Capt. Judge said. "Halibut fishing was going to be the highligh of their trip, because they do a lot of fishing in their home state - so they waited around for a week."   With the realization of her dream, Elder was ecstatic. "She was just blown away, excited beyond belief," Judge said. "It was going to be the highlight of their trip, and as it turned out - it was!"
